AMBROSIA® Basmati Rice is a long-grain rice originally grown in India and Pakistan. Hailed as the queen of fragrant rice, Basmati literally means fragrant in Hindustani language. The distinct spicy, nutty and floral aromatic flavor is 12 times more than other rice varieties which makes it fancier and more desirable. Soaking the rice for 30 minutes before cooking shorten the cooking time and help preserve the flavor.
The long grains of Basmati rice are not sticky, allowing curry and other sauces to coat each grain. Packed with protein and fiber, it can be used in many dishes in place of white rice.
